Managing "Morbid Fears", "Irrational Fears", or Phobias

Definition - A phobia is a type of anxiety disorder, defined by a persistent fear of an object or situation.  The word phobia comes from the Greek: φόβος (phóbos), meaning "aversion", "fear", or "morbid fear".
